IBT System
The Infrared Tester IBT is an opto-electronic device which is able to detect by-pass
cracks in metallic ends, the device is able to detecte microholes or microcracks up to 10 microns
The system’s fast speed response allows finding and expelling individual disfunctional
end at a rate up to 800 C.P.M.
The equipment is made up of the following units
- an Emitter of infrared beam
- a Scanner for the detection of I.R. light leakages
- a Controller which supplies power for system and controls End’s ejection device.

Microscore 150 is an optical microscope made of a sturdy aluminum structure with
high precision mechanical components.
The structure has been specifically designed to allow easy measurement
on all types of E.O. lids on the market with high precision.
Most similar devices, however, derive from commercial microscopes adapted and
modified, for this reason they have many limitations especially when used with
non-circular or large-format lids.
Enamel Rater
Enamel Rater Tester is a gauge thath check the integrity of coating applied on internal
surface of Easy Open Ends and for any other type of metal packaging with appropriate
customizations of the device.
POP & TEAR
The Tester was devoleped for testing EASY OPEN END of the most popular commercial formats round, rectangular or oval with a maximum size of 150mm by simply and quickly replacing an adapter on the holder.
An important feature of this Tester that others do not have is the large working space reserved for the rotation of the lids holder that allows testing the lids even already applied on many types of Cans.
The Y-axis movements and the rotation angle of the End support are measured by absolute type transducers and therefore do not require recalibration of the zero positions.
